About the Role
Aramark UK are currently looking for a Stores Lead to join our team working with a prestigious corporate client with six sites across London, Bournemouth, Dublin, Edinburgh, and Luxemburg. Our client, a global financial institution founded in 1799, is built on delivering exceptional client service – and that is exactly what we expect from you! You will play a key role in the exciting reopening of a newly refurbished site, ensuring the transition is seamless, operationally strong, and reflective of the exceptional service culture we are committed to delivering. This role is subject to client vetting.
Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and storage rooms; ensuring proper waste collection, sorting, and disposal following recycling and food-waste procedures; supporting deep-clean tasks such as ovens, fridges, extraction, and floor drains; leading delivery reconciliation and storage tasks; maintaining organised storage areas with correct labelling, rotation, and stock positioning; keeping the deliveries area tidy and supporting stock receiving and storage; adhering to food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and HACCP guidelines; ensuring chemicals are used and stored safely according to COSHH procedures; following safe working practices to prevent slips, trips, burns, and other hazards; promptly reporting maintenance issues or broken equipment; working closely with chefs and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service flow; keeping dishwashing and prep areas organised to avoid bottlenecks during busy periods; and supporting closing-down procedures to ensure all equipment and areas are cleaned and ready for the next day.

Experience
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure environment. Experience in maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.

Positive attitude and willingness to support the entire kitchen team. Clear communication skills, especially during busy service periods. Reliable and consistent. Comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and working on your feet for long periods. Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and speed. Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard-free kitchen environment. Flexible and willing to help across different kitchen areas. Able to respond quickly to changing priorities during service.
Qualifications
Understanding of basic food safety, cleanliness, and safe chemical handling. Commitment to following COSHH and HACCP guidelines. No formal qualifications required but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
