About the Role
Join the London Borough of Sutton and Kingston shared services, working within the Design & Delivery team responsible for street lighting schemes and maintenance programmes. You will support the Principal Engineer in managing the design team, coordinating with the term maintenance contractor, and delivering a range of street lighting projects. This role offers the opportunity to work across two high performing London Boroughs, Kingston and Sutton, both committed to tackling the climate emergency and delivering innovative public services. You will be part of a dynamic team of approximately 30 staff covering Street Lighting, TMOs, Planned Maintenance, Vehicle Crossovers, and Surveys. The role supports flexible working patterns and provides the tools and equipment needed to work creatively and ambitiously to improve services for borough residents.

Experience
- Previous experience managing team members and delivering street lighting schemes.
- Experience working within Local Authorities and Consultancies is beneficial.
- Knowledge of street lighting maintenance programmes.
- Local knowledge of Kingston and Sutton highway networks is advantageous.
