About the Role
The Student Casework Office is an integral part of the Secretary’s Office managing appeals, misconduct (academic and non-academic), complaints, and Fitness to Practice processes. The postholder will manage a caseload of academic appeals and complaints, considering, investigating, and determining outcomes, as well as processing academic misconduct cases and supporting non-academic misconduct and Fitness to Practice processes. They will provide clerking support for relevant panels and hearings, and maintain accurate records concerning their caseload and queries. Additionally, they will provide advice and guidance on the University’s relevant policies and procedures, and liaise with and advise members of staff and stakeholders to support the actualisation of Casework outcomes. The postholder is expected to deliver a high-quality service and adhere to both the University’s regulations and any relevant external requirements. They will also support the work of the Senior Casework Officer and Student Conduct Officer through administrative and clerical work.

Experience
Experience in managing casework or similar administrative roles is desirable.

You should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders are essential.
Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a similar role is preferred.
