We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Supervisor. In this leadership role, you will oversee and guide a team of dedicated tradespeople, utilising your expertise to ensure quality workmanship and productivity. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills while delivering right first-time repairs with excellent customer service.

Our customers are at the centre of everything we do, so you should be people-centric and able to lead your team effectively. You will liaise with planning and customer service staff, maintain relationships with surveying staff and repairs officers, and help ensure compliance across all operations.

Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring and supervising tradespeople; collaborating with supervisors and managers to plan and deliver repairs; managing Health and Safety in a social housing repairs environment; applying high-level technical knowledge and diagnostic skills; managing problems and identifying solutions; ensuring repairs are completed on time and within key performance indicators; handling administrative tasks; planning work to minimise downtime; and managing complaints and CRM information.

Experience
Proven experience as a qualified/skilled tradesperson in carpentry, plumbing, general building, roofing, or similar trades.
Good knowledge of repairs and maintenance in a social housing environment.
Experience in using multiple business IT applications and Microsoft Office.
Experience managing Health and Safety in a social housing repairs environment.
Experience handling complaints and collating information from stakeholders, including CRM management.
