Description
Your typical day could start with a meeting with contractors and consultants to discuss progress on sustainability retrofit projects, ensuring they’re on track and compliant with regulations. Later, you might review specifications and schedules of works, ensuring budgets are adhered to and quality standards are maintained. In the afternoon, you could visit a site to oversee ongoing works or address a resident’s query about how the upgrades will benefit their home. As a Sustainability Project Manager, no two days will be the same. You’ll be a vital link between teams, residents, and stakeholders, managing projects that enhance communities while ensuring excellent customer service. You’ll play a key role in delivering sustainability retrofit programs, working to improve homes and meet environmental goals. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with contractors and consultants to deliver sustainability retrofit projects on time, within budget, and to PAS2030/35 standards. Managing relationships with residents, stakeholders, and partners to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as the Client under CDM regulations, ensuring compliance with legal, contractual, and safety standards. Overseeing inspections and quality assurance to maintain high standards and satisfaction rates. Addressing complaints promptly and ensuring effective resolutions. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and building strong relationships across the business to find creative solutions. Your role will cover all aspects of project management, including property inspections, stakeholder engagement, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Organised and self-motivated, able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines. Experienced in housing or project management, ideally within social housing or sustainability programs..
