£60,633 - £62,742 per annum (SWTM). All appointments offered at minimum spinal column point unless matching current salary (subject to proof).
About the Role

As Team Manager for the Family First Contact Point (FFCP) Team, you will be an inspirational leader promoting evidence-based practice to support positive outcomes for children. You will support staff to complete high quality triages and assessments that meet FFCP criteria for new referrals and assist the Family Practitioner with Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments.
The FFCP also hosts the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) service, and you will provide cover for LADO duties as required.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage a diverse team including advanced practitioners, social workers, and a family practitioner. You will be responsible for professional development, practice improvement, and development within your team.
You will work closely with colleagues across services and partnerships to ensure high quality triages and assessments. You will be a skilled, reflective leader with a clear vision of good practice with children, young people, and families, willing to innovate to ensure families receive the right help at the right time.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate, and excellent technical knowledge and experience of statutory safeguarding practices for children in need of help and protection.

Proven experience in social work with strong leadership skills and knowledge of statutory safeguarding practices for children in need of help and protection.

Qualifications
Relevant social work qualification is required.
Registration with Social Work England is mandatory.
The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
