As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will lead complex programs across multiple engineering, product, and cross-functional teams including finance, legal, compliance, risk, and others. You will be responsible for defining, strategizing, planning, and executing large-scale technical programs that solve complex problems and empower Stripe and its users.

Your key responsibilities will include independently defining and driving the delivery of key programs, partnering with Engineering and Product Managers, developing and iterating on program management frameworks and KPIs, improving team communication and productivity, producing high-quality documentation, leveraging data to inform decisions, creating clear plans to build alignment, influencing peers and leaders, and mentoring new TPMs while contributing to the hiring process.

Experience
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, and/or technical program management.
- Proven track record managing programs across all phases of software development from kick-off to launch.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to digest complex information and make recommendations.
- Experience leading large-scale efforts autonomously across multiple teams and functions, often across time zones.
- Ability to drive internal and external process improvements and bring best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, building relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Ability to understand how functionality across products and platforms delivers user value and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
