About the Role
Are you interested in developing new skills? We're looking for a Trade Effluent Billing Technologist to join our team, supporting the accurate and fair billing of trade effluent services for our business customers. You will ensure Trade Effluent charges are calculated and raised correctly for non-domestic customers. Your role will involve communicating with retailers, other water companies, and internal teams to resolve billing queries and ensure compliance. You will respond to retailer enquiries within set service levels, providing clear and accurate information. Supporting the Trade Effluent team in meeting regulatory obligations under the Water Industry Act 1991 and MOSL Market Codes will be a key responsibility. You will build strong working relationships with retailers to improve performance measures such as BRMEX scores and deliver excellent customer service to retailers and customers, helping to maintain Thames Water’s reputation. Please note this is a secondment position of 10-12 months.

Experience
Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering quality service.

About you
Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills across different stakeholders. Confidence working with data and interpreting written information. IT literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office.
