Starting salary of £23,000, increasing to £28,000 once fully qualified and authorised

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join Tetra Tech’s established Asset Management team as a Trainee Asbestos Consultant. You will work on a diverse range of buildings including historical, architecturally significant, and industrial sites across the UK, with opportunities for international travel. You will receive all relevant training based on the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s P402, P403 & P404 qualifications, combining practical and theoretical elements with mentoring from expert consultants. Upon qualification and authorisation, you will independently carry out asbestos surveys and analytical work across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. About you
- Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including Maths, English, and Science
- Keen interest in maintaining a safe working environment for clients, staff, and the public
- Strong attention to detail and high personal integrity
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong observational skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and practical demonstrations
- Professional and courteous when interacting with clients, contractors, and the public on site
- Ability to achieve security clearance for UK and international secure contracts
- Full UK driving licence

Initial asbestos awareness training and company health and safety inductions will be provided.
