About the Role

As a Transfer Station Manager, you will oversee all Transfer Station operations, managing waste transportation and processing logistics to ensure efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations. You will develop and implement operational plans, monitor performance against KPIs, and lead a team of approximately 40 Transfer Station and Logistics staff members. Your leadership will inspire and motivate the team while maintaining high performance and a safety-first culture. You will be responsible for all QHSE matters, conducting health and safety investigations, ensuring compliance with Veolia Management Requirements and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, you will support contractual negotiations and budget development in collaboration with senior leadership. Experience
- Proven track record leading operational teams in waste transfer or similar industrial environments
- Strong safety leadership with knowledge of process safety management and incident prevention
- Thorough understanding of waste management regulations, Veolia Management Requirements (VMR), and Environmental Permit conditions
- Experience developing and managing operational budgets and financial controls
- Ability to set, communicate, and drive clear operational targets and KPIs
