About the Role
The post holder will provide effective support for the SEND Tribunals, Mediations and Resolutions Team. Acting as the first point of contact for the resolutions service, the role involves regular interaction with appellants, families, schools and relevant officers. Stakeholder management is a key aspect, requiring a helpful and patient approach.
Attention to detail and efficiency in compiling information is essential, as the post holder will be responsible for securing, coordinating and submitting evidence documents and witness statements on behalf of the local authority.

Experience
- Knowledge and experience of local authority SEND services and understanding of the impact SEND has on children and families.
- Strong administrative skills demonstrated through experience in local authority administration and working to deadlines.
- Good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience interacting with service users in a polite and courteous manner.
- Experience using Adobe, Excel (basic), and working with databases.
