Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Day to day running of a range of valuation instructions for various purposes including Loan Security, Financial Accounting, Taxation, Probate, Strategic Asset Management
- Property inspections and measured surveys
- Standard property due diligence
- Valuations and report writing
- Representing and dealing directly with the firm’s clients, many of whom are Blue Chip
- Maintaining and improving client relationships by upholding quality standards
- Maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Keeping abreast of valuation standards, best practices, and market movements to enhance technical and market knowledge
- Developing own business relationships, instructions, and clients both internally and externally

Experience
Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with post-qualification experience
RICS Registered Valuer Status
Experience working with valuation software such as KEL and Argus Developer
Good understanding of UK commercial and residential property markets
Working knowledge of The RICS Red Book and Code of Measuring Practice
Familiarity with Landlord & Tenant Law is advantageous
Strong report writing skills and ability to identify key issues impacting value and asset security
Proven ability to investigate market data and act on findings
Full UK driving licence

Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent
