About the Role
As an Additional Learning Support Assistant, you will assist and contribute to the educational development and pastoral support for adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in various formal and informal settings. Your role will involve supporting the education and training of adults, ensuring their engagement in ONLS Adult Education programmes as directed by key specialist Tutors. You will also support access arrangements in examination settings for those with SEND and may deliver workshops and training for students as needed.

Experience
A relevant qualification in SEND and/or qualified by experience. Skills and experience in working with adults with special educational needs and disabilities, along with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by this client group.

About you
Willingness to undertake training related to the job as required. Ability to devise individual training plans and record students' progress in line with regular reviews. Skills in developing training materials, including clear and understandable handouts.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience and a passion for lifelong learning are essential.
