About the Role
As an Adults Brokerage Officer within the London Borough of Havering, you will work across the Adults Brokerage team leading on brokering placements and services while supporting the delivery of the personalisation agenda. You will deliver work priorities as identified in your work plan, sharing your knowledge by providing training and support to the wider team. You will manage and maintain professional working relationships through positive approaches that deliver desired outcomes, ensuring a strong and developed knowledge of the market. Using resources effectively, you will secure the best value and quality for placements and services.

You will maintain strong links with operational teams, commissioners, and the Quality Team, ensuring clear and timely communication while following all necessary protocols and procedures in placing individuals and delivering the personalisation agenda. Accurate and up-to-date data input into relevant systems is essential, with records maintained regarding placements, services, and personalisation activity. Contractual arrangements must be clear, robust, and accessible.

You will also contribute to the design of a responsive market for placements and services aligned with the personalisation agenda. Where capacity issues arise, you will escalate these to Senior Brokerage Officers.

Experience
Experience working within brokerage or social care services is desirable. Proven ability to manage professional relationships and deliver outcomes in a complex environment is important.

Qualifications
