About the Role
The multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic Studio at Framestore collaborates with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. Working closely with directors and producers throughout the filmmaking process, Framestore focuses on innovative creative solutions to support their vision and set new standards for visual effects in cinema. As an Animator at Framestore’s London studio, you will work closely with Animation Leads and Supervisors to produce high-quality keyframe animation that delivers compelling, story-driven, and action-packed moments fitting the style and pacing of the show. You will animate both primary and secondary characters and elements, meet schedules and deadlines, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Your responsibilities will include animating characters and elements, maintaining ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines, working efficiently to complete assigned shots, submitting shots for review, and following through with notes and feedback as required. Experience
Previous experience in a similar animation role is preferred. Proven ability to animate both primary and secondary characters and elements to a high standard.

Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Maya. Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture, and form. Familiarity with typical rigging set-ups, animation pipelines, and transferring data between tools.
