About the Role
The multi-Oscar-winning creative Film & Episodic Studio at Framestore collaborates with some of the greatest storytellers in film today. Working closely with directors and producers throughout the filmmaking process, Framestore focuses on innovative creative solutions to support their vision and set new standards for visual effects in cinema. As an Animator at Framestore's London studio, you will work closely with Animation Leads and Supervisors to produce high-quality keyframe animation that delivers compelling, story-driven, and action-packed moments fitting the style and pacing of the show. You will animate both primary and secondary characters and elements, meet schedules and deadlines, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include animating characters and elements, maintaining ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines, submitting shots for review, and following through with notes and feedback as required. Framestore values creative collaboration and seeks candidates committed to this approach.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar animation role is preferred. Proven ability to animate both primary and secondary characters and elements effectively.

Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of Maya. Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture, and form. Familiarity with typical rigging set-ups, animation pipelines, and transferring data between tools. Excellent organisation skills.
