About the Role
We are seeking an Arabic-speaking Banking Paralegal to support our Dubai Banking practice. This exciting role involves working closely with Partners and Associates in our Dubai office, providing essential transactional support across a range of banking and finance matters. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and possess strong banking transactional experience. You will have excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced international environment. This role offers immediate exposure to cross-border matters and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and growing practice.

Key responsibilities include providing transactional support on banking and finance matters, assisting with preparation, review and management of documentation, supporting transaction coordination, conducting legal research, document reviews, due diligence, and preparing summaries and reports. You will track conditions precedent, signing and completion requirements, manage document production processes, liaise with clients and stakeholders in both Arabic and English, and support the wider Banking practice with administrative and project-based tasks. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to improve processes and support efficient delivery of legal services.

Requirements

Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Banking Paralegal within an international law firm or leading financial institution.
- Strong experience supporting banking and finance transactions, including document management, due diligence, and transaction execution processes.
- Exposure to international or Middle East/Dubai-related matters is advantageous.

- Fluent in Arabic and English, with professional communication skills in both written and spoken formats.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, confident in building effective working relationships across jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgement, and take ownership of tasks in a remote or hybrid working environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.

Qualifications
- LPC / SQE qualified or (Foreign) Qualified lawyer.
