About the Role
As a Change Manager at Linklaters, you will drive strategic change across the firm by leveraging highly effective relationships and influence, alongside comprehensive change management strategies and plans. You will be a key enabler in realising beneficial outcomes related to our clients, people and culture, technology, and ways of working. Your responsibilities include developing and executing robust change strategies and plans for strategic programmes and projects to maximise adoption and beneficial outcomes. You will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, conduct effective stakeholder management by identifying key groups and personas, and address their needs and concerns. Using structured techniques and subject matter experts, you will undertake change impact analysis across people, processes, systems, and data to inform change plans. You will define and implement structured plans and change activities aligned with overall programme milestones, create or leverage change networks globally, and work closely with communications teams to develop and execute aligned communications plans. Additionally, you will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), assess the impact of change interventions, and adjust plans to maximise adoption and return on investment. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the Change Management Centre of Excellence and foster a positive change culture across the firm, enhancing the capacity and willingness to embrace change. This role offers exposure to a broad range of projects and change methodologies, providing significant opportunities for professional development and meaningful contribution.
The Team
The Business Change Delivery team partners with Partners and Business Team leaders across the firm to identify, deliver, and drive transformational change initiatives aligned with the firm’s strategic goals. This includes process optimisation, technology implementation, organisational transformation, and cultural change. The team ensures change is delivered effectively, sustainably, with minimal disruption, and focused on beneficial outcomes. Experience
- Minimum of five years’ change management experience, including owning and defining change management strategies and plans
- Experience delivering change in complex, global organisations with sensitivity to cultural and local issues while maintaining global focus
- Experience in legal services or professional services partnership environment preferred
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and lifecycle phases
- Proactive, action-oriented, strategic thinker with a data-led approach to planning
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate, influence, and foster a positive change culture

Qualifications
- Change management certification (e.g. APMG, Prosci, or similar) with evidence of continued professional development
