About the Role
Lift Kingswood is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team and further strengthen our outstanding provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to shape a career within an exceptional school.

You will engage and motivate pupils to enable them to thrive in the classroom, bring topics to life with innovative teaching, collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding teaching to every child, and promote the values of the school both inside and outside the classroom.

This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people and be part of a national beacon of educational excellence. Lift Kingswood students make half a grade more progress across all subjects than the national average, placing the academy among the highest performing schools in the region.

The school was recently recognised by Ofsted for its Outstanding provision for personal development, behaviour and safety, and leadership and management. This reflects the relentless dedication, hard work, and ambition of the entire school community. The inspection also highlighted the school's exceptional achievements in fostering a rich, dynamic learning environment where both pupils and staff thrive.

Candidates are encouraged to view this post as a three-year development pathway to the next stage of their career rather than just an Art Teacher position. The innovative and dedicated training and CPD at Lift Kingswood is exceptional.

We recommend prospective candidates arrange a conversation with the Principal to discuss career development and opportunities within the school.

Lift Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.
