About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

This role is responsible for working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive the sales process for a set of complex products in the entity data space. You will build on sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company’s vision and objectives. You will drive the sales process from beginning to end by identifying and qualifying prospects and taking ownership of sales cycles to closure in assigned territories.

Partnering with Solution Specialists, you will develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demos that address client needs. Ensuring clients see Moody’s as a ‘trusted partner’ through informative and client-specific advice using market, product, and technical expertise is key. You will identify cross-sell opportunities across all Moody’s businesses and introduce them into client dialogue.

Additional responsibilities include leading the preparation and circulation of market insights to create awareness of Moody's expertise internally and externally, representing the organization as an external spokesperson, providing accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management, and pinpointing specific growth opportunities with senior management.

You will collaborate with local country Sales Development Representatives and Relationship Managers to encourage positive activity across the region, deliver presentations and demonstrations of Moody’s software solutions, and interact with clients and contacts at executive level to diagnose challenges and recommend solutions.

About the Team
Focusing on Financial Services, this role covers Moody’s established and growing KYC, Compliance, Master Data Management, and Sales and Marketing offerings. The role involves working with existing customers to maximise revenue growth across the UK & Ireland. It is a team selling environment, ideal for those who enjoy collaborating with multiple parts of the business to be successful. This is one of Moody’s most exciting and fastest growing segments, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates with a data/software sales background and an understanding of the market.

Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Experience

Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and developing awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

About you
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, able to present both high-level information and detailed product demonstrations. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients. Willingness to travel as required. Models Moody’s values: investing in every relationship, leading with curiosity, championing diverse perspectives, turning inputs into actions, and upholding trust through integrity.
