An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced NHS manager to join the Lifelong Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Network. You will be part of a dedicated network management team delivering a wide portfolio of projects to support equitable, specialist care closer to home for patients across London, East and South East England.

The Assistant Network Manager will lead and support projects, act as a key contact for senior leaders, and build relationships with clinicians, commissioners, and other stakeholders. You will contribute to service improvements and ensure best value for NHS resources. This role suits proactive individuals with excellent project management skills and experience in clinical network, strategic or operational roles, with strong data, reporting, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

The Lifelong CHD Network supports effective local care and excellent clinical outcomes for children and their families across a broad geographic area. The role involves supporting the Network Manager in managing the network, delivering service improvements, managing performance and finances, and facilitating collaboration among clinical and managerial stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience in NHS management, clinical networks, or strategic/operational roles.
- Demonstrable project management skills.
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
- Ability to influence and engage with a wide range of professional stakeholders.

- Strong organisational and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of the changing NHS environment is desirable.
- Effective people and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills including formal presentation, influencing, and negotiating.
