About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader passionate about driving exponential business growth through innovative procurement strategies. This role is employed by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust but works jointly for NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) and North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC). You will develop and execute procurement growth strategies that maximise value by reducing costs, improving quality and outcomes, and optimising resources.
You will lead cross-functional teams, drive spend through NHS contracts, and build strategic partnerships to enhance business performance. The role involves managing growth-focused projects, mentoring teams, and diversifying the client base across the wider public sector to subsidise NHS services. You will bring clarity to the NHS procurement landscape and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver ambitious growth targets.

Experience
- Proven leadership experience in business growth, market expansion, or corporate strategy
- Strong track record of implementing growth initiatives with measurable results
- Expertise in market research, financial analysis, and competitive positioning
- Experience in procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management
- Senior management responsibility across multiple organisations/sites
- Experience working within or on behalf of an NHS organisation is advantageous

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent competence
- Highly developed knowledge of Contract Law, PA23, EU sourcing regulations, and OJEU compliance process
- MBA qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply or equivalent is desirable
