About the Role
At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities by fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

We are seeking an Associate Director - Product Manager to lead product management for an enterprise Knowledge Graph platform, connecting data and engineering teams to power analytics, search, and next-generation GenAI applications. This role will advance Moody's Risk Insights business by building solutions that address new and existing problems across the organization.

Key responsibilities include leading structured evaluations of Knowledge Graph technologies, sourcing and prioritizing use cases, translating ambiguous business problems into precise engineering requirements, owning the product roadmap, managing agile ceremonies and dependencies, and serving as the primary point of contact for business sponsors and technical teams. You will also define onboarding paths for new use cases, drive platform adoption, and continuously improve the roadmap.

Join our Risk Insights team to help scale a Knowledge Graph that forms the foundational data infrastructure unifying and contextualizing information across Moody’s, powering analytics, search, and next-generation AI applications. Your work will contribute to making the world safer by making it harder for bad actors to evade sanctions or launder proceeds of crimes such as fraud and human trafficking.

Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.

Requirements

Experience
- 5+ years of experience in sanctions, anti-money laundering, fraud, investigations, export control, or adjacent regulatory spaces with deep domain knowledge
- Strong technical literacy including ability to read schemas, review queries, and discuss data modeling trade-offs with engineers
- Understanding of graph data modeling concepts including nodes, edges, properties, ontologies, taxonomies, RDF vs property graphs, and entity resolution
- Proven track record of translating ambiguous business problems into precise functional and non-functional engineering requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to align senior business sponsors, subject matter experts, and engineering leads
- Strong project management skills including agile/scrum, backlog hygiene, dependency tracking, and risk management
- Preferred: 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years on data, platform, or AI/ML products
- Preferred: Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, data catalogs, and lineage tools
- Deep expertise in artificial intelligence with experience implementing advanced AI solutions, leading innovation initiatives, managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering responsible AI adoption

About you
You are a collaborative leader who models Moody’s values: investing in every relationship, leading with curiosity, championing diverse perspectives, turning inputs into actions, and upholding trust through integrity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing complex projects, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required; backgrounds in international relations, political science, law, economics, area studies, or similar are as relevant as technical degrees. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
