About the Role

As an Associate Product Manager, you will help develop and improve digital products that positively impact residents, businesses, and staff. You will take ownership of a digital product or a defined set of features, shaping its vision, roadmap, and priorities using evidence and user insight.
Working alongside product designers, software developers, architects, and other specialists, you will translate user and business needs into accessible, usable digital services. Your role includes engaging stakeholders and partner organisations, facilitating workshops and demonstrations, managing a prioritised product backlog, and defining success measures.
This role offers excellent training and development opportunities within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, allowing you to gain experience across the full product lifecycle including discovery, development, testing, launch, and operational support. You will contribute to digital services that meet the evolving needs of a growing borough.

Experience
Experience managing digital products, creating product vision and goals, and leading development teams towards these goals.
Knowledge of IT industry and technology solutions to manage and support digital solutions across the Council.
Good understanding and experience gathering and clarifying business requirements.
Experience managing delivery of digital solutions to agreed business specifications.
Ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex issues.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and associated technologies is desirable.
