This is an exciting opportunity to join one of London's most ambitious and forward-thinking boroughs as a Senior Developer Contributions Officer. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary Strategic Planning team contributing to a wide range of complex projects that help shape Lewisham's future.

In this role, you will lead the administration, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Council's Building Safety Levy (BSL) function, working closely with internal teams, software providers, and external stakeholders to develop and ensure effective Levy processes compliant with legislative requirements. You will also support the management of the Council's multi-million-pound Developer Contributions Programme, overseeing negotiation, collection, monitoring, and allocation of contributions that deliver the borough's strategic priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of Building Safety Levy processes and procedures
- Administering and collecting the BSL, including preparation and submission of quarterly management information
- Monitoring, collecting, administering, and reporting on the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
- Managing Section 106 agreements to ensure legal compliance
- Working with stakeholders to secure CIL or Section 106 contributions for projects
- Preparing high-quality reports, briefing notes, correspondence, presentations, and other documentation for diverse audiences
- Providing technical guidance, advice, mentoring, and constructive engagement with applicants, stakeholders, and the community
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting to ensure effective administration of developer contributions and delivery of community infrastructure

Requirements

Experience
- Working in Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) collection with detailed understanding of CIL regulations
- Monitoring Section 106 obligations and agreements
- Experience with Exacom or similar online database systems
