We strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
As an Associate Software Engineer on the Corporates and Government engineering team, you will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions in an agile product environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, test, document, and maintain software features, components, APIs, and integrations. You will participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, and team learning activities.
You will write clean, reliable code and contribute to automated testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices. Collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions is key. You will use approved AI-assisted development tools responsibly to support coding, testing, documentation, and learning.
Additional responsibilities include investigating and resolving straightforward defects, supporting production improvements, and building technical knowledge across Moody’s platforms, engineering standards, cloud technologies, and secure software delivery practices.
Our Corporates and Government team delivers technology solutions that support Moody’s corporate and public sector clients. Joining this team means working on enterprise software development, public sector innovation, and global impact initiatives where hands-on technical leadership and AI-enhanced engineering practices are central to success.
