
Location
London - Television Centre (London W12), minimum 3 days per week depending on production commitments. There is the opportunity to work remotely.
Hours
Full Time - 5 days per week, fixed-term 1 year contract starting Monday 7th September 2026 (subject to notice period).
Salary
£40,200 - £69,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. Flexible working options are available and will be discussed at offer stage.
About the Role
Are you a dynamic and driven producer of longform visual content? Do you create shows that sparkle with a mix of facts, fun and visual style, building strong audience relationships? This is an exciting opportunity to join the award-winning Factual team at BBC Studios Audio, producing podcasts and visualised content for platforms including BBC iPlayer, Sounds, BBC YouTube, Radio 4 and Radio 5, as well as commercial audio platforms.
You will develop and produce new visualised podcasts for the BBC and commercial platforms, and visualise existing audio content. This role involves close collaboration with producers and executives across the wider Audio Unit (Drama, Comedy, Entertainment) and TV colleagues in the BBC Studios Factual community.
You will lead the creation of innovative audio and audio-visual content, oversee studio and location recordings, manage multi-camera workflows, and ensure editorial integrity. You will motivate and support a multidisciplinary production team, plan and manage workflows, schedules and budgets, and work closely with hosts and contributors to capture their best performances.

Experience
- Proven experience producing successful video content in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrable passion for developing and innovating entertaining audio and video formats across factual genres.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hosting talent, contributors and creative teams.
- Experience overseeing multi-camera studio or location shoots, or equivalent visual production workflows.
- Understanding of podcast commercial frameworks including revenue, distribution and platform models for both audio and video.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with others.
