About the Role
As Back of House Manager, you will be responsible for the health and safety in the loading bay and back of house (BOH) areas including staff zones. You will maintain a clean and food-safe working environment in the loading bay and oversee COSHH training and certification across all Food & Beverage areas. Your role includes assisting with BOH health and safety audits, managing all goods receiving processes and collaborating with finance on related paperwork and systems. You will order all required chemicals, ensuring their storage complies with legal and company guidelines. Additionally, you will oversee the ordering of all Food & Beverage products for outlets and the staff canteen, liaising closely with chefs to ensure accuracy. Ensuring proper receipt and storage of all F&B products within the hotel is key, alongside maintaining company guidelines for refuse storage and removal in coordination with contractors. You will liaise with the maintenance team and contractors regarding upkeep of BOH areas, be responsible for the safe opening and closing of designated culinary areas, and manage general maintenance of culinary areas, equipment, and fixtures, fittings, and furnishings (F&F’s).
Experience
- Experience using stock and goods receiving systems
- Experience with kitchen equipment and recommended cleaning methods

Qualifications
- COSHH certification or COSHH trainer qualification is desirable but not essential
