About the Role
As Back of House Manager, you will be responsible for the health and safety in the loading bay and back of house (BOH) areas including staff areas. You will maintain a clean and food-safe working environment in the loading bay and oversee COSHH training and certification for all Food & Beverage (F&B) areas. Your role includes assisting with BOH audits on health and safety, overseeing all goods receiving processes, and working closely with finance on related paperwork and systems. You will manage the ordering of all required chemicals, ensuring they are stored in accordance with legal and company guidelines. Additionally, you will oversee the ordering of all F&B products for outlets and the staff canteen, liaising with chefs to ensure accuracy. Ensuring all F&B products are received and stored correctly within the hotel is a key responsibility. You will maintain company guidelines for refuse storage and removal, liaising with contractors as needed. Collaboration with the maintenance team and contractors regarding upkeep of BOH areas is essential. You will also be responsible for the safe opening and closing of designated culinary areas and the general maintenance of all culinary areas, equipment, and fixtures, fittings, and furnishings (F&F’s).

Requirements

Experience
- Experience using stock and goods receiving systems
- Experience using kitchen equipment and recommended cleaning methods
