About the Role
Are you motivated, encouraging, non-judgemental, objective, supportive, and able to be a positive role model? Bromley Mentoring Initiative is seeking volunteer mentors to support young people aged 10 to 18+ who live or attend school in the Borough of Bromley. These young people face various challenges and greatly benefit from the guidance and support a mentor can provide. As a mentor, you will commit to spending around one hour per week with your mentee. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life.
Experience
No prior experience is required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to support young people are essential.
