About the Role
The Tutorial Foundation is a small independent specialist school in Bromley, supporting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and barriers to attending education. We offer a calm and supportive environment where pupils are taught individually or in small groups. Our shorter school day and small-school setting provide a more manageable working environment than many larger educational settings, allowing staff to build strong relationships and provide personalised support.

We are recruiting for two key roles:

Subject Teachers
We welcome applications from teachers and experienced subject specialists across a range of secondary subjects. Subject teachers will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress and support pupils working towards GCSE, Functional Skills, Entry Level and other suitable qualifications.

Intervention Staff
Intervention staff will deliver targeted individual and small-group support based on pupils’ identified needs. This may include literacy, numeracy, study skills, communication, emotional regulation, engagement and preparation for classroom learning. The successful applicant will work closely with the SENCO, teaching staff and pastoral team to plan, deliver and review appropriate interventions.

Applicants should be calm, reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting young people who may have found traditional school settings difficult.

Experience
Subject Teachers: Qualified Teacher Status and experience in teaching secondary subjects.
Intervention Staff: Experience in delivering targeted support is desirable but not essential.
