About the Role
This is an exciting role within a fast-growing, high-impact team at Nest Insight, a leading voice on financial security issues facing low and moderate income households. Our team has grown significantly alongside our increasing impact, developing a flexible and supportive culture that adapts to new challenges in real-time. As we evolve, we need to rethink our ways of working and operating model to maintain our culture while enhancing efficiency and connectivity across a larger team.
We are seeking a Fixed Term Contract Business Change Lead to support the Managing Director and Leadership team through this transition. You will address key questions including:
- Do we have the right capabilities to deliver current and future plans, with appropriate development plans to fill gaps?
- Are accountabilities clear and reflected in team and individual objectives?
- How can we organise ourselves to maximise efficiency and impact, including role mix, resourcing, team structure, and leadership forums?
- How can we best communicate and collaborate effectively as the team expands?
- How can we ensure the whole team has necessary knowledge and engagement without slowing delivery?
- What initiatives will support culture development and help our people thrive?
- What systems and tools can improve team operation efficiency?
You will work directly with the Managing Director and leadership team, collaborating closely with all teams across Nest Insight. Nest Insight is a public-benefit research and innovation centre established by Nest Corporation in 2016, focused on supporting low- and moderate-income workers to achieve financial security today and into retirement. Our team of around 25 delivers ambitious research, publications, and events, working collaboratively with industry and academic partners. We are innovative thinkers committed to flexible, creative, and collaborative working, supporting each other’s learning and development.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are core to our values. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to fair treatment regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marital status, national origin, pregnancy or caring responsibilities, race, religion/belief, sex, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. We also value diversity of thought and neurocognitive variation. Nest is a Disability Confident Leader and encourages applicants with disabilities to apply through the scheme.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering people change projects, target operating model projects, or other strategic change initiatives.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and a self-starting approach in identifying and delivering change initiatives.
About you
You are an analytical thinker with a pragmatic approach to supporting team development. You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, and are motivated to help shape ways of working that enhance culture, efficiency, and impact.
Qualifications
Specific qualifications are not detailed; however, relevant experience in strategic change and people management is essential.
