About the Role
THE·TEAM is a global leader in representation and marketing services across 28 countries and more than 70 cities, specializing in branding, signage, custom fabrication, live event production, and experiential operations within sports, music, entertainment and culture. We work with some of the world’s most iconic properties and brands to create unforgettable live events.

We are seeking a commercially curious and driven Business Development Associate / Researcher ready to take the next step in their career. You will join an experienced team with support to learn and develop, alongside the freedom to take ownership of your own activity, relationships and pipeline.

Your role will involve generating new business opportunities across key growth areas including high-value prospects, new sectors, and existing client development. You will build and develop your industry network to secure meetings and create meaningful relationships with key decision-makers. You will lead and contribute to pitch opportunities with support from senior colleagues and project management, manage and update the new business pipeline consistently, and use the commercial tracker for accurate reporting.

You will prospect and engage potential clients through outbound activity, develop a full understanding of client needs and challenges, and take responsibility for revenue generation from new and prospective clients as well as cross-selling into existing accounts.

This role offers the chance to help create memorable work with some of the most iconic names in sport, culture and entertainment, in a supportive yet autonomous environment where your commercial curiosity and relationship-building skills will be highly valued.

About you
You are a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meeting new people, opening doors and turning conversations into opportunities. You are resilient, self-motivated and comfortable playing the long game in new business development. You have the determination to keep opportunities moving through sometimes lengthy sales cycles and are commercially curious enough to understand prospective client challenges and think strategically about where value can be added.

You are comfortable juggling priorities, working independently and collaborating with colleagues across the business. You are confident in taking ownership of your own pipeline and shaping your own success in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.

Qualifications
There are no specific qualification requirements; however, a proactive attitude, strong communication skills and commercial curiosity are essential.
