About the Role
The Business Manager plays a key role in supporting the strategic, financial, operational and governance activities of the Data & Related Services (D&RS) business, part of the Markets division at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). Reporting to the Commercial Director for D&RS, this Senior Associate level position covers LSE Market Data, RNS, SEDOL, ISIN and LEI business lines. The successful candidate will work closely with the D&RS Leadership Team to ensure effective execution of business priorities, robust performance management, financial oversight, risk management and operational excellence across the business.
As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will drive reporting, governance, planning and change initiatives while supporting the delivery of strategic objectives and ensuring effective organisational management. Key responsibilities include strategic planning and business performance monitoring, financial management, governance and risk control, operational management, leadership and stakeholder engagement, and project and change delivery.
You will coordinate monthly business reviews, produce executive reporting, support budget planning and forecasting, maintain business policies and controls, drive operational efficiency initiatives, and lead or support cross-functional projects and business initiatives. Experience
Significant experience in business management, strategy, operations, finance, governance or a related discipline. Proven ability to support senior stakeholders and leadership teams. Demonstrable experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insight.
About you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to influence decision making through data-driven analysis and recommendations. Collaborative, proactive and able to build strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Desirable experience within capital markets, financial services or exchange infrastructure. Knowledge of strategic planning, performance management and financial processes. Competencies include strategic thinking, commercial acumen, financial and data analysis, governance and risk management, stakeholder influence, project management, change leadership, operational excellence, communication and presentation skills, and teamwork.
