About the Role
FTSE Russell (LSEG) is transforming how Sustainable Investment (SI) data is gathered, managed, and delivered by building modern platforms that power index and data products used globally. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our Sustainable Investment data platforms, from onboarding new data sources through to migration, delivery, and ongoing optimisation. This is a delivery-focused product role where you will define the roadmap, work closely with engineering and operations teams, and ensure high-quality, reliable data products that meet both client and regulatory expectations.

Your responsibilities will include communicating with diverse audiences ranging from highly technical partners to business clients, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills. You will establish credibility and build strong, collaborative relationships with business and technology stakeholders, including external parties at all levels. Staying abreast of technology trends and understanding their impact on your roadmap and innovation will be key.

Experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in data product ownership, technology, business analysis, operations, or application delivery within banking or financial domains.
- Exposure to commercial product and operations teams in the financial industry, ideally linked to Indexing or Funds.
- Experience with Sustainable data vendors and products such as ESG indicators and scores, climate, carbon emissions, and green revenues.
- Proven ability to take new data sources from discovery to production, including source evaluation, data mapping, ingestion patterns, validation rules, change management, and operational handover.
- Experience leading migration of datasets from legacy systems to target data platforms (e.g. cloud, data lake, warehouse), including data mapping, transformation design, reconciliation, parallel run strategies, and cutover planning to ensure data integrity and minimal business disruption.
- Familiarity with data management and artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications
- Experience with Sustainable Investment / ESG data is desirable.
- Exposure to index, market data, or financial data products is a plus.
- Familiarity with data platforms (cloud, lakehouse, or warehouse) in a product context is advantageous.
