The WSP Civil Services team is seeking a CAD Manager to join this established and experienced team working on exciting large-scale, national and international projects. Due to recent successes, the team is growing and offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate seeking new and exciting challenges. You will be part of a team delivering airfield, maritime and pavement design and maintenance projects for clients in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider engineering team to develop and deliver projects through various design stages from feasibility and option studies to detailed design and construction. You will lead CAD Technicians in producing quality engineering drawings and 2D/3D CAD models, quality check outputs to maintain consistent high standards throughout the project lifecycle, mentor team members, and act as the key source of CAD knowledge for Engineering Managers.

Experience
- Extensive industry experience on civil design projects, ideally in airports, highway/pavement, or maritime sectors
- Proficient in 2D modelling, design coordination and delivery using Autodesk software including AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ideally Civil 3D
- Strong skills in engineering drawing preparation and construction detailing
- Experience working with CDE platforms such as Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Ability to review drawings for compliance with in-house and client drafting standards and maintain in-house drafting standards
- Experience delivering training, mentoring and guidance to develop CAD skills within a team
- Working knowledge of BIM standards such as PAS 1192 and BS EN ISO 19650
- Experience in quality checking final published drawings and Civil 3D outputs
- Ability to implement technical quality requirements, address project briefs and meet client deadlines

Qualifications
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD CAD software
- Good working knowledge of Civil 3D modelling software including template and style management (desirable)
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Previous experience in Airport, Highway/Pavement or Maritime sectors preferred
