As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and contributing to exceptional dining experiences. You will prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your designated section, ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, assist in menu planning incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends, and manage activities within your section including delegating tasks to junior staff.
You will maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock rotation and ordering, collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, participate in kitchen meetings, and contribute ideas for improvement. Additionally, you will train and mentor junior kitchen staff and assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations as required.

Experience
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within high-volume kitchens is required.
About you
You are passionate about culinary excellence and committed to continuous learning and improvement. You have strong time management and organisational skills, can work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and handle pressure to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution.
Valid food hygiene certification.
Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
Excellent food preparation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and following recipes.
Understanding of food cost control and inventory management principles.
