As a Hospitality Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service, ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, assist in menu planning and development, oversee stock control and ordering, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment following health and safety regulations. You will also support administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records of food costs and inventory. Staying updated on industry trends and culinary techniques, you will help enhance menu offerings and foster a positive working environment through leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution is preferred.

You are passionate about food and service, enthusiastic, fun, and a team player who enjoys succeeding as part of a team. You have excellent organisational skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a flexible approach to work including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
A culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute are required. You must have strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices, and the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
