As Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef, ensuring food safety at all times. You will oversee your station’s production, maintain high-quality standards for presentation and taste, and keep your area clean and well-stocked. Collaboration is key, so you will communicate effectively with team members, support junior chefs through coaching, and assist in menu development by working closely with the Head Chef to create and refine new recipes. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring kitchen equipment is in good working order will also be part of your role.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
