As a Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service, ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, assist in menu planning considering dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients, oversee stock control and ordering, and support special events and culinary initiatives.

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment while following health and safety regulations is essential. You will also support administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records of food costs and inventory. Staying updated on industry trends and culinary techniques will help continuously enhance our menu offerings and overall dining experience. Leadership, effective communication, and teamwork are key to fostering a positive working environment.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within contract catering or educational institutions is preferred.
