Your key responsibilities will include food preparation—preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will manage your station by overseeing the production of all dishes assigned to you, maintaining supplies and cleanliness in line with policies and procedures. Maintaining high quality standards for all dishes, including presentation and taste, will be essential. You will collaborate positively with team members, assist and support colleagues where necessary, and coach junior chefs to support their development. Additionally, you will work with the head chef on menu development by tasting and suggesting improvements or innovations. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and ensuring equipment is in good working order will also be part of your role.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
