We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead our kitchen at Goldsmiths. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven culinary professional with a genuine passion for outstanding food and a keen eye on emerging food trends.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative dishes across both our internal dining services and a growing external hospitality and events business. You will play a key role in shaping menus, maintaining exceptional standards, and leading a dynamic kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional food
- Design and execute creative, seasonal menus that reflect current food trends
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
- Support and grow the hospitality and events offering with tailored, high-quality catering
- Manage stock, suppliers, and cost control effectively

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Head Chef or in a similar role
Experience in high-volume and events catering environments is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and support a team effectively

A strong, confident leader with excellent team management skills
Exceptional cookery skills with attention to detail and presentation

Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and thrive under pressure
