As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high kitchen standards and contributing to exceptional dining experiences. You will prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your designated section, ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, assist in menu planning incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends, and manage activities within your section including delegating tasks to junior staff. You will maintain inventory records, assist with stock rotation and ordering, collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth service, participate in kitchen meetings, train and mentor junior staff, and support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within high-volume kitchens.

About you
Passionate about culinary excellence with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution.
Valid food hygiene certification.
Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
Excellent food preparation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and following recipes.
Understanding of food cost control and inventory management principles.
