About the Role

Join Peabody’s Thamesmead team focused on Greenwich and Bexley as the Children, Families and Young People Lead. In this role, you will lead and shape a comprehensive programme that responds to local needs and priorities, working closely with residents to co-design services that reflect real experiences. You will build and maintain strong partnerships across public, private and voluntary sectors, and support and develop a high-performing team delivering children, young people and family programmes.
Your typical day might include connecting with your team to review progress across multiple projects and priorities, meeting with local partners to strengthen collaboration and unlock new opportunities, engaging with residents and stakeholders to understand their needs and ideas, reviewing data and insights to ensure programmes deliver real impact, and developing funding bids or reports to support programme growth and sustainability.

Experience
- Previous experience working in children, youth work or family support environments
- Experience managing teams and complex programmes
- Proven ability to develop partnerships across sectors
- Experience of securing funding and managing externally funded projects is desirable
