About the Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations across various stations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance. You will support the Periodic and Fault teams, provide training and development to operatives, and ensure all tasks are completed professionally and on time. You will be the key contact for emergencies in the absence of senior management and will manage shift reports, documentation, and staff cover arrangements.
Your role includes ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, conducting quality and safety audits, and maintaining staff welfare and HR processes. You will lead daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure all operatives are competent and adhere to uniform and safety standards. You will also manage incident reporting, data protection compliance, and foster excellent relationships with all site stakeholders.
Additionally, you will monitor stock levels, manage fault reports, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are implemented to maintain service excellence. You will act as a Customer Service Champion and Brand Ambassador, promoting a collaborative “one team” approach with station management and supporting the delivery of the contract in line with company policies and client expectations.
Experience
- Valid Driving License with over 1 year of experience and knowledge of London roads
- Must hold a Sentinel card
- Sound communication skills
- Basic IT skills (training available)
- Proven ability to operate and manage workload effectively without supervision
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance policies
