About the Role
Client Affairs is dedicated to creating a safe environment for vulnerable adults in the community. Due to increased demand, we are seeking skilled and experienced officers to work in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will join a specialist team managing the finances, property, and assets of vulnerable adults who are unable to manage these themselves and have no one else to do so. The team also holds statutory responsibility for Sec46 Public Health Funerals.
If you are looking for a new challenge and can bring your knowledge and expertise to this important work, this role could be the perfect fit. You will report to the Senior Client Affairs Practitioner and be responsible for managing your own caseload while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their experience and knowledge in this field and will undergo Word and Excel testing as part of the recruitment process.
Experience
- Good understanding of Court of Protection rules relating to Deputyship for Property & Affairs
- Knowledge of DWP Benefits
- Experience visiting clients in their own homes or designated sites
- Experience reconciling client accounts
- Good knowledge of accountancy practices related to managing clients’ monies
- Ability to manage own caseload effectively
- Proficient in IT software packages

Qualifications
