About the Role
As a Community Library Officer, you will support the day-to-day running of a local library, ensuring a high-quality, inclusive service for all users. You will help deliver community activities and events, support customers to access books, digital resources and technology, and work with partners to reduce digital exclusion. You will also carry out core library duties such as enquiries, stock management, cash handling and opening and closing the building. Alternative flexible working options are available and open to discussion.

Experience
Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and strong customer service skills are desirable.

About you
You will enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and have strong communication skills. You will be organised, flexible and comfortable using digital technology, with an understanding of the important role libraries play in local communities.
