Community Neighbourhoods Senior Officer £38,364 - £40,833 per annum 1 x permanent position, based in East Ham Library The Community Neighbourhood Senior Officer is a critical role supporting with the delivery of community based activities in a designated geographical area of Newham, that include; library and community centre based activities, community engagement activities, democracy and civil participation programmes, resident budget participatory programmes, delivery of joint public health programmes and initiatives, implementation of the social integration and volunteering action plan, maintain positive working relationship with local voluntary, community and faith sector organisations and support colleagues in community and youth safety services to deliver positive outcomes for Newham residents You will have a good understanding of community engagement and development and experience of working with community groups and local residents within this capacity. Additionally, you will have excellent project planning skills. No two days will be the same, so you must be able to think on your feet, priorities your workload and thrive in a busy environment.
