About the Role
The Senior Manager, Central Compliance will play a vital role in strengthening the Company’s culture of ethics and compliance. This position requires a highly organised and experienced compliance professional comfortable operating autonomously and leading the Compliance governance and management information programme. The role involves developing and maintaining the compliance management information framework in line with regulatory expectations and internal policies, overseeing the Compliance reporting calendar, and identifying opportunities to leverage data, technology, and analytics to enhance programme effectiveness. You will design and manage compliance metrics to assess the ongoing impact of the Group’s Compliance programme, analyse data to identify trends and risks, support governance projects, and serve as the main point of contact for governance, management information, and metrics-related enquiries. Additional responsibilities include tracking adherence to the annual Compliance budget, contributing to the Compliance risk and control programme, and providing support on ad hoc projects. This role reports to the Director, Central Compliance, based in London and partners closely with Compliance and Risk teams, the Compliance Leadership Team, and stakeholders across the Group.
Experience
Proven experience as a compliance professional with a strong focus on governance frameworks, metrics, and management information. Experience working with risk management frameworks. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
About you
Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey regulatory information clearly and concisely. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, follow-through, effective time-management, sound judgement, discretion, and adaptability as team needs and priorities evolve.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Compliance certification or qualification is preferred. Project management experience is an advantage.
