Location
Primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, with work across locations in South East London and hybrid working from home.

Full time with occasional evening and weekend working required.

Salary
£55,353 - £57,495 per annum (P05). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade, except when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale) with evidential proof.

Lewisham Council, the UK’s first Borough of Sanctuary, is seeking a Consultation and Engagement Lead to strengthen community voice and shape meaningful public engagement. You will provide legally robust, expert advice across Council services to ensure engagement activities are accessible, representative, and impactful. This role involves developing and managing the Council’s engagement framework, tools, and processes, leading priority campaigns, promoting best practice, evaluating engagement activities, producing high-quality analytics, and supporting strategic partnerships to enhance collaborative approaches across Lewisham. Experience
Extensive experience leading high-quality engagement programmes using a wide range of effective methods. Proven ability to advise on complex policy, statutory and legal requirements with compliance to GDPR, accessibility, and equality standards.
