£55,353 to £57,495 per annum (PO5). Appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary with evidential proof.

As a Project Manager in the Strategic Regeneration team, you will lead complex, high-profile regeneration projects and strategic workstreams. This role combines robust project management with strategic thinking, policy awareness, and strong partnership working to deliver long-term, place-based outcomes.
You will manage major regeneration, development, and infrastructure projects from design feasibility through to delivery, ensuring strong governance, design and risk management, monitoring, and reporting. You will support strategic planning, masterplanning, and investment decisions across priority growth areas. Working closely with colleagues across the Council and key external partners including the GLA, TfL, Homes England, developers, and local communities, you will ensure programmes are well-governed, effectively funded, and deliver maximum public benefit.

Experience
Significant experience managing complex regeneration, development, or infrastructure projects, ideally within a public sector or partnership environment. Proven ability to lead high-profile projects with strong governance and risk management.
About you
Strong financial and commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills. Confident in producing business cases and reports, managing risk, and working collaboratively across organisations. Clear understanding of the political context of working within a local authority.
Qualifications
A degree-level qualification in a built environment or related field is desirable. A recognised project management qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
