£64,938 - £69,660 per annum (SMG1). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade unless matching current salary with evidential proof.

Lewisham is transforming how it procures, manages, and delivers housing services. As the Contracting, Procurement and Commercial Manager, you will be a senior commercial leader at the heart of the repairs and maintenance team, ensuring contracts deliver quality homes, value for money, and real social value for residents.
This role is not back-office; it requires influence, grip, and delivering outcomes by working with senior leaders, suppliers, and communities to ensure every pound spent delivers its intended impact.
Key responsibilities include leading procurement and commercial management of housing repairs and maintenance contracts, providing strategic contract oversight, strengthening governance, financial control and performance across a diverse supply chain, managing risk collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, driving social value, and shaping effective, transparent contracting arrangements across Housing Repairs Services.

Experience
Proven experience as a confident, commercially minded leader working at the heart of complex, high-value services. Experience in challenging poor practice and balancing risk, cost, quality, and resident outcomes in a pressured operational environment.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial leadership are expected, supporting the ability to provide strategic oversight and governance.
